Codi’s Kitchen, a trendy fast-food spot located in a small town in the Mpumalanga province was established and owned by Colby Masinga.
Since its inception, Colby’s business had its challenges, which only increased during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Although Colby had a vision for his business, he initially lacked the financial and managerial expertise to organize it effectively.
“My mindset was always into business, but I was not equipped with structure and manage it properly”.

Participating in the Accelerator programme helped Colby enhance his skills in record-keeping, strategic financial management, and most notably, networking with other business owners to expand his clientele.

“I’m a happier person now and I have the confidence to do better than before,” he shares.

Colby used his investment grant to acquire equipment like mobile grills, enabling him to offer services at local community events.

“With the financial knowledge I’ve gained, I can support both my family and my business.”

“As much as people choose to go into business, they should consider joining this accelerator programme to be able to manage and handle the difficult part of business”.
