Tarryn Thomas Hair Styling
Generating growth
In September 2018, Tarryn attended a 5-day Socionext workshop at The Business Place in the Eastern Cape. Although she had already started her hairdressing business prior to the workshop, Tarryn always believed in taking advantage of business workshops offered in the community to learn new skills and gain knowledge that she can apply to improve her business.

She started operating her business from one of the rooms in her home. By offering excellent services and using the marketing skills she learned from the workshop she was able to grow her business.
As it grew, she decided to enter into a partnership with a beautician to rent a larger space to accommodate her growing clientele. She now makes a monthly turnover of between R10 000,00 and R13 000,00. She is now planning to employ two employees to help her serve her growing clientele.
